Vegetable garden: growing dandelion
Dandelion is sown between March and end of June in position (spacing seeds every 15cm) or in rows (spacing seeds every 30 cm). Harvesting takes place 10 to 12 months after planting. Flowering takes place between January and February, its flowers are white and yellow.
Dandelion can be attacked by powdery mildew, a fungus that will degrade the leaves and that will cause the appearance of white spots on the leaves. Subsequently, this disease results in slower growth of the plant, which can even lead to death of the latter. Dandelion is a vegetable but also a leaf.
