Vegetable garden: growing parsley
Parsley can be cultivated under any type of climate. In harsh climate (notably in mountain climate), crops should be well-protected. Parsley is sown from end of April up to August. When the plants have 3-4 leaves, thin every 5 cm. Harvesting takes place all year-round, carefully plucking the leaves one by one.
Parsley can be attacked by carrot rust fly that will deteriorate the plant (weakened stem, dig holes in root and leaves). It will slowdown the growth of the plant and can even cause death. Parsley is a vegetable but also a leaf.
