With the Marguerite project, the geographer Julie Le Gall aims to raise awareness amongst adolescents about farming and food. She outlines a possible agri-food education.
Agri-food education implies working on the interrelationships that underpin food systems, but also thinking about the major societal questions associated with this type of education. By integrating agriculture into educational projects, we pave the way for a reflection on the meaning of community between urban and rural populations, and on a larger scale in society as a whole.
